The second Castlevania title released on Nintendo DS after Dawn Of Sorrow, this game is a direct sequel to BloodLines on Sega Genesis. Dracula rises from the dead yet again (cue groan), and it's up to Jonathan Morris, helped out by Charlotte Austin, a powerful mage student, to defeat him. The use of glitchy warps is not new to Castlevania runs, but what is new is the creative use of switching between the main characters for basic character movement. We dare you to not have "Jonasan!... Topics: TAS, NDS, Nintendo, DS, Castlevania, Portrait, Ruin, mtbRc, TASVideos, NESVideos
Ivy is a lost bird who is wondering aimlessly around looking for her mother. Normally when you play the game you simply draw vines for Ivy to walk on and you can pull them to bounce her over an obstacle. With tools, this turns into a mad orgy of bouncing and springy physics action that is difficult to follow with the naked eye. Don't blink or you'll miss it! This is a tool-assisted speedrun. Blaster Master is a fairly long game involving a random hero that jumps down a hole after his mutant frog, finds a tank, and proceeds to blow up a few bosses and rescue said frog. It's complicated. In this movie the hero gets bored with the tank early on, skips the bosses and mostly decides to just go straight to the final boss and blow him up. The frog is saved and dissected, and Biology 101 is passed. Hooray! This movie plays on the Europe version. which includes a few bugs such as pausing... For more details, see http://tasvideos.org/94M.html Astyanax is a little clumsy game. For one, the main character is twice as big as he looks, which makes him hit everywhere unless you play carefully. The controls are also very bad. But these factors sum up to that it's a difficult game to play, and that's what makes this movie interesting - at least for those who have played this game.
